The Steward
at 14:39 28 Nov 2019

If you watch the longer video the stewards are bringing them out in two's / threes

The lads filming were the first lot ejected and were asking for what reason with no-one seemingly prepared to reply

None of us currently know what went on in the ground itself - if they were being ejected just for standing as the MSG are suggesting that is very poor form

Whatever the reason the stewarding looked very poor to me - too many of them seem to be spoiling for a fight Perhaps a legacy from flash points during NAPM

With the new regime I'm sure lessons will be learned from this We have to trust the Club to sort

As fans we need to keep the moral high ground - we use the SLO here to make our points ( and that's not just Steve but also those who assist inc Higgy who is North Stand rep ) not issues threats via social media of the type I have seen today

Fans' Forum with Sadler
at 13:21 27 Jun 2019

Spell with the last forum there was a greater emphasis on the existing groups ( they got approx 60% ) however the remainder was open invite

There was only 5 women ( 4 were BSA reps ) there however the reality was only two applied for the 22 open places and one was selected in a random draw

The Disability Rep was invited but couldn't make it

Obviously this time 75% of a larger pool will be open invites Hopefully we will see more female applicants

Brett's a good guy

We went to school together ( though he was two years younger ) and also started our legal careers at similar times

The end of a great day

We’ve had our dark moments but our fans determination to effect change always shone through

No club’s fans have done more

Enjoy the moment all after which we have a club to rebuild

Slowed down a bit but that's to be expected as the early bird has just ended

Hopefully we will see a spike when the new owner is announced

Pitch Renovation
at 13:36 22 May 2019

From the OS

The first stage of the club's off-season pitch renovations began today, with the top level being shaved off.

The process, known as Koroing, is a regular process used on football and rugby pitches to remove the surface of vegetation and organic matter.

It will be followed by a period of cultivation and levelling, prior to fibre sand, seed and fertiliser being added.

The new pitch will be ready in time for the club's pre-season friendly against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday 27 July, kick-off 3pm

Indeed Superb ( no spoilers for those who haven't yet seen )

My only criticism is that this final series all seems a bit too rushed

I don’t believe BST have told any lies

Most certainly the suggestion they are working with a Singapore consortium without disclosing that to the fanbase is patently untrue

Of course BST may on occasions moving forward need to hold confidential discussions and you’d hope the membership would realise the value in that and afford them the benefit of trusting their judgment

It’s inevitable however that there will be those who think everything should be played out in public whatever the consequences
