What an excellent read. Whilst also supporting the club for 50 years I know where he is coming from it’s like being in a boxing ring as a supporter at the moment you can only take so many punches every week and then you stop enjoying it Over the last 3 years it’s started to become a chore going to the matches it’s no longer enjoyable. Will I be there on Saturday of course I will Will I be there next season I don’t know I feel punch drunk and can’t wait for the season to end. |

Just heard of the sad passing on Mon 23rd Jan of Tony Hoyle a life long Dale fan with his wife Sue. Tony also well known in the CLL having played cricket with Castleton Moor before i think going onto the paid ranks in the Huddersfield League. Our condolences to all the family.. |

Daleys and anyone else attending todays game do not park down Churchill St at the side of Meanwood stores the vultures will be out issuing parking tickets there is no Christmas spirit with these guys and you won’t win the appeal. |

Well after an entertaining second half and a cracking goal coming out of the ground delighted for a change I went back to my car on Churchill St to find a parking ticket. I have parked in this spot probably for the last 10years the sign states No Parking 0800-1500 Mon - Fri yes I wasn’t thinking when I parked up but it’s a Bank Holiday the school is closed would I park there within that time when the school was open NO.I was a bit later coming out of the ground and there was another car with a ticket. RMBC get a grip I have just driven down Halifax Rd and 4 cars parked on double yellow lines on the footpath no attendant in sight.Just see if I can now appeal they are definitely stooping low targeting Dale fans for this or maybe he was a Biffos fan. |

Yes meat pies are about £1.20 bought some on a Friday and brought them to the Dale on Saturday brought back memories. Also fresh Vanilla Slices 60p bargain an old worldy shop which will not change. |

Fair enough I will go with the majority vote but from where I was in the F section of the main stand it looked off side and everyone around me couldn't believe it. |

Is he available and fit enough to play I know he doesn't score many goals but he would still do a job in this team and so would Alby(shrews) just for the experience and yes at the moment we are missing Jim Mc. |

I'm sorry but enough is enough I agree we shouldn't give our own players grief when they are playing on the pitch but after nearly 50 years of watching the dale Dorsett and Graham wont make it in football they cant even find a dale shirt and when they have the ball they look short of ideas and like rabbits in headlights.Both need taking out of the firing line and what about Aidy White I bet he's pi$$sd off unless he is carrying an injury there must be better youth team players.After the Bradford match I said to myself that Dorsett needs taking out of the firing g line for his own good. |

The Robin Hood at Cragg Vale proper old worldy pub with 3 rotating guests and 2 Timmy Taylor’s also excellent homemade food cask prices start from £2.60 The other is the King Bill at Shore now a free house Excellent food and 2 casks.Moorhouses White Witch permanently on and at the moment they are going through the Seriously Brewing Portfolio. |

Well Robbie after 10 matches in i would like to make an assessment We started off ok with confidence that gave us a good run upto the Burnley match but since then we have been shite and not been as creative. As a person you come across very honest and the fans like that.I can also take that we recruited late but we did have a good run and played good football.Where has it all gone wrong I'm sorry but Dorsett is going to be entering the hall of fame of the worst defenders who have played for dale.We are deffinatley missing a midfield general and for the work rate Beesley puts in he needs somebody up with him.I hope it comes right but I'm not confident at the moment with a full it squad we have got minus Andrew's. |

Don’t know what’s happened here but on entering the main stand and the steward requesting to search through my ruck sack he noticed that I had a small bottle of water which I bring one into every match over many years and he refused me in unless I got rid of it and said it was the rules??? I also had a flask of coffee which he wasn’t bothered about. |
