It is poor form from the Club, the least you would expect is a sort of apology for all the fans travelling and socialising plans thrown into confusion and the "a new date for the match will be announced in due course"....we know that, it's obvious!
Regarding the actual game.....I suspect we have lost a bit of momentum. All the usual suspects in the NL, from 8th place ,won or drew and Latics are now 7 points ahead of us and 2 games in hand on top spot York City.
Pressure for a positive on Boxing Day. Not beyond the realms though.
Stay positive you lot. No one else will. |

Never thought for a minute the game would be really under threat of being called off, even the wind has calmed. Today would have been a Christmas celebration with Santa hats and money in pockets for a lot of us.
it's not as if this problem has sneaked up us, we all know it's going to happen and the bad weather has yet to come.
It really is time to deal with this, all for "a bit of drizzle".....it's a false economy to ignore any longer just a complete drain on cash flow every time it happens.
How can we fund these covers? |

Good one Dalenet......yes, a Frenchman on loan from Sunderland (TVOS?) i think we tried hard to keep him here but did n't work out.
That's what we need players that are a joy to watch, we have some here in the building but they are being held back. Express yourself. |

There are some odd results from FA Trophy today.....Oldham beaten 2-0 by Stockton Town.
AFC Fylde beaten by Kiddy Harriers. Halifax beaten on pens by Basford United at the mighty Mill Street Playing Field in front of 476 folk. Radcliffe beat Solihull Moors. Chorley won with our lad's help.
I hope we treat this seriously on Tuesday, we might do well? |

Their televised game against Chester on Tuesday night has now been cancelled.......perhaps the TV cameras can lurk around and televise our lot instead? |
