I cant understand why this format has been agreed apart from MONEY as its 144 games to eliminate 12 teams!!! in the first rd what a waste of time. |

Now we have people saying that Ramsdale is not good enough can i ask who you actually wanted for 25 m all in with add ons????
Saint22 who has been calling for a keeper for at least every week for 2 years cant even acknowledge that we got a decent one now !!!!
I give up lets support the players and team its not there fault we have bought them. |

This is a measured way of trying and survive in the prem without mortgaging the club and then build quality each year back into the club like Bournemouth , Brentford and Brighton have done.
Being a medium club in the prem we will never hold our star players but we must start somewhere and by signing Ramsdale and hopefully a couple of unknown signings that can step up we have a start.
With Everton and Leicester in trouble this year we need another club to be worse than us to survive! |

Great news at last someone of class in goal , whether he can play tippy tappy football we will have to wait and see but personally I think it’s a real bargain.

It was all done until the failed medical which thankfully was picked up.
So will we default to Sam Johnstone , although Ramsdale would be the one they really want but money is the big issue. |

ok Dirk why didn't we sack him last year thankfully we didn't and only 10 weeks ago I had one of my best days supporting The Saints.
Butty the players I think will make the grade will be
Fernandes but we haven't seen if he can adjust to the prem but certainly looks as if there is a player in there.
Sugawara looks a real find for us.
Breteton Diaz looks a handful if he plays in the right position nearer to the centre.
Ugochukwu gets a great review from Chelsea supporters so look forward to seeing him start.
Edwards was class in a lower division can he step up I do believe so.
Not sure about Archer can he score 15-20 goals i doubt, Wood reliable but maybe average CB cover, Taylor experienced and possible cover ,Lallana will not play many games and talking to a Brighton supporter he has lost any pace he had.

Ok everyone has written us off after 2 games , yes 2 1 nil games apart from Dorset Ian.
I didn’t hear everyone shouting after breaking our record for the amount of wins last year that throw away the tactics and change , I am not going to say RM will succeed but give him a flippin chance.
We haven’t seen half our new signings play yet but they are crap just like what you said about Mane , VVD , Lavia etc when they signed |

Our squad is crap sack the manager, no hope etc etc etc.
Two games in yes nil points but has everyone lost their heads ! Newcastle we were bossing it till they went down to 10 men and we all know goal keeper error lost us that and Sat was a very bad day at the office teams all have them. That was Forest fourth win on the trot away from home.
Last year we went on a record run , got promoted by the play offs , gave some of us one of best days of supporting The Saints at Wembley 10 WEEKS AGO and now we are doomed , sack the manager etc etc.
We all have a right to review the season at Christmas when we know what players we have, that the tactics dont work , manager not up to it but until then lets support the club and the players we did 10 weeks ago and it got us here.
Ban Saints 22 from all his negativity , does he ever go and watch a game gets on my t!ts with his negativity. Cant he go and support someone else!
I dont expect to get anything from Brentford as my brother in law has taken me to the last two games as he is a season ticket holder there and i think its 3-0 twice for brentford.
Goalkeeper announcement tomorrow we are going Dutch! he had a great send off from the Feyenoord supporters.
If we look at the relegation list Paddy Power are already paying out on Everton to be relegated , Leicester are going to have a points deduction so there is one more place to fill from Man city points deduction needs to be 80 points!! and around four or five other teams. Wolves, Forest, Ipswich,Palace,Bournmouth.

How many of our fans would have said signing Borja if they stay up for £30m and signing Philips was good business. Our guys doing the transfers in the club would have got linched on here.
They are already getting linched on buy real young talent that we now have to let loose and see how good they are, |

We have some great potential signings which need support not slagging off before they have kicked a ball.
A keeper is on its way and bearing in mind 7 days before the agents start panicking and dropping demands for players we have time to fix our issues. |

I thought he had retired years ago but after joining us in 2008 he moved to Man Utd for 27m and then to Everton for £24m when they were flashing the cash and then onto Nice and a couple of unknown accounts.
He announced his retirement he was a good loyal servant for us for around 7 years. |

I see the makings of a competitive team with a couple of pieces of the jigsaw to be added. A keeper is on its way , Chelsea have 6 in their squad and Arsenal have one very costly one that wants to move but I am told we will have a keeper that can actually pass out successfully 99% of the time SOON.
Personally I think we have a squad which can survive but as supporters we need to keep believing not getting on the players backs after two to three games as that won’t do anybody any good. |

You forgot to say that Archer best season 2023 in the championship for Middlesbrough 17 league appearances (3 as sub) 11 goals scored.
Another one to be written off before he has kicked a ball come on give him a chance.
Szmodics played 162 games for Peterborough scoring 38 goals but had a great season last season 27 in 44 games so maybe the better deal for Ipswich but let’s wait and see. |

This youngster is no ordinary player. He is CLASS Ugochukwu is a 20 year old , no buy out clause as he is expected to walk into the Chelsea team the following season.
He is going to be exciting to watch and I for one can’t wait to watch him. So before everyone rights him off due to his age just watch him first |

Top class keepers don’t throw themselves at clubs who even 75% of home fans believe they will be relegated.
Be patient someone is coming who I hope you will like but there is still two weeks before the transfer window closes. |
