The Port Vale game was strange as we didn't play particularly well but every attack we had we scored. Pat McGinlay got his only goal for us in that match before we released him. |

The rules say that it was a yellow card but there is something wrong when a ball can inadvertently hit a defender on the line resulting in a sending off and cheating like that only calls for a yellow card.
A disgusting act which speaks a lot for what type of individual Pittman must be. |

Obviously the amount of traffic on this board must question it's future. That would be a pity in my opinion as Fansonline these days has become difficult to get the same pleasure from than in the past. Part of this is down to sheer popularity of the site and the fact that is not structured/moderated particularly well. By this I mean for example multiple threads on the same topic, no seperate Fora  for different types of threads and inconsistent moderation (though obviously nowhere near as bad as previous board  ).
This Board then offers an oportunity to address these issues in that it is structured well and could be moderated only in the sense that threads are tidied/combined/moved to appropriate forum.
To address the other issues I would propose an IQ test that would need to be passed at an appropriate level before being allowed to post. if we set level at say an IQ of 120 that would keep 90 % of the riff raff away. We would obviously have to make exceptions for the likes of Curryman but if we allowed age to be added to IQ he would probably scrape the 120 pass mark.
It'd be a shame to lose Herts but c'est la vie. |

Great support for team and manager. Anti-oyston chants were in the main well timed and supported around the stadium.
My only criticism is for the one or two who were trying to start chants against the Oystons referring to sexual orientation, rape and ****s. We don't need that. It won't be supported by the majority and gives the Oystons and press something to throw back at the fans. Keep the moral high ground and cut the crudity and homophobia. |

For that Steve McMahon game it was first game of cricket season and we were playing at Oakmere on the A49 - one of the coldest days of playing cricket I've ever known. I had 4 sweaters and 2 pairs of flannels on and looked like the Michelin man.
I didn't know the score but I was fielding on the boundary by the road when the Supporter's coaches so was gesturing to the fans trying to get the result. Obviously all I got back was a load of V signs and w**ker salutes. |
