Last year was awful, never been so cold & on the approach to Leicester realising how thick the fog was I thought this will never go ahead. But it did, couldn’t see a bloody thing not helped by our gold shirts that paled into insignificance in more ways than one & the absence of a good old F.A cup orange ball, aka Sunderland v Leeds on a perfectly sunny day. Left when the 5th went in & my Grandson started crying bless him..Oh and got a speeding ticket 2 weeks later for doing 47 in a 40 on a duel carriageway 100 yards before it becomes 60mph again.. |

Thanks for the tip regards Dhillon’s brewery yesterday Stow,great venue with friendly Cov fans banging out some great tunes..Their social media guy approached our small gaggle of R’s fans to take our picture looking perplexed why we were all singing along with gusto when Hi Ho Silver Lining came on 😂 Shame we had to leave really with what happened next.. |

Wedding’s & funerals are the bane of my life..missed the day out in Cardiff thankfully due to my partner at time best friends swanky wedding,if you go,I won’t be there when you get home..Bobby Zamora day,had everything sorted including a work swop until a much esteemed work colleague who I’d partied with 48 hours earlier dropped dead over her washing machine & all bets were off.Who gets cremated on a Saturday ffs. |

3 from here including my 11yr old Grandson. Leicester in the FA cup was his first away game & he cried at halftime albeit from the cold & not being able to see a F’gg thing so I owe him one..Hopefully it’s T-shirt weather & I’m not crying with him on the Stairs..😂 |

I thoroughly enjoyed it too and picked up loads of great books and old programmes to last me all summer. David Shields & Stuart Byford’s new publication, Loftus Road Our Stadium,Our Home is a work of art and should be on every R’s fan’s Xmas wish list. The Stadium tour included in the £2 admission fee was the icing on the cake but a quick peep in Marti’s manager’s room fridge & finding it stocked with San Miquel with not a single Estrella in sight came as a shock,it doesn’t even rhyme 😳 Even learned how Subbuteo should be played coz nothing like the rules my mates & me adhered to back in the day 😂 Once again, thanks to the club & everyone involved in organising a great day and really hope it was the first of many.. Never mind hitting the first man at corner’s repeatedly, Paal’s awful attempt to even hit the Box when everyone was pushed forward trying to get the winner left us seriously exposed & Saito realising took one for the team..He would probably of rather tripped him & taken a yellow but the guy was away so did what he had to do..True team player. |

Was awful in the fog at Leicester & wasn’t ideal in the bright Portsmouth sun yesterday. Two games were I can hardly see a bloody thing to quote a phrase (Big Nose) 😂 |

It was my 10yr old Grandson’s first away game.My eyesight’s foggy at the best of times but when he tore I his hat off despite the freezing condensation dripping on our heads when the 3rd went in was priceless..😂 |

The official away fans venue is the Waterfront on King St but if you like a good ale try the Coach & Horses up the road from the Station on Thorpe Rd.Usually a few R’s in there & where I’m going.. |
