Yesterday was the first time I've seen Seb Polter play a whole game. He's been described as the new Devon White. He reminded me more of Ian Dowie....in a good way. Great effort and a real handful for defenders hampered by a poor touch but then capable of the odd killer pass.
I'm coming to HQ today from Southampton partly to commemorate my first game 50 years ago this month. On 19 Feb 1966 we drew 3-3 with Hull City through a headed hat trick from John Collins. I was hooked! A few weeks later we signed a wayward striker from Fulham for £15000. The rest is history.
So Rangers, you've done your best to ruin my life but I still love you!
