Update from Cameron Ogden.
at 22:33 13 Sep 2024

What would make a massive difference is the council and community doing something for the football club insted of vice versa.

I didn't understand the bit (george, i think) when it was stated a target to regain efl was 3yeras, but reaching a state of sustainabilty was 5 years. surely it must be the other way round as the Ogdens cant carry our losses for that lngth of time.

we don't. but what we do know is that Rochdale are rarely on the end of a massive 'add-on'.
we provide uncut diamonds then pass them on to be polished and profited by others.

Academy Categorisation changed
at 13:09 15 May 2024

one thing i find surprising is he lack of 'interest' on here on news from 2 dys ago. if the figures are correct, then to run an academy is a huge leak on the clubs finances, with no guaranteed 'big sale' at the end of it. perhaps we could run an academy for mANu or citeh, which would still gie local youngsteres to enter the football family.
whatever the future state of finances, it looks like we will be shopping at lidl (nothing wrong with that, i do it all the time) instead of Tesco; their mobile reception is carp.

This stinks almost as high as when Stevenage were refused admittance to the football league a few years ago.

Investment update
at 18:02 19 Apr 2024

it will take a heck of more than a year to 'prove' anything to anyone. we are beginning a new era, and even Fergy needed 5 years before he won anything. its clear that continuity and sustainability are the number one factors in this 'takeover'. success will first be measured on the sustainabilty of the club off the pitch, not team success on it. look at how long it took N0. C0. and Wrexham to return to the league.
PS isn't it about time respect was shown S &R.

RAFC as a community asset seemed to me to be the main point, rather than getting the team as high up the pyramid as possible. which is the right attitude. with all this 'sustainability' talk going on with the Prem, efl etc, the Ogdens may be coming in just the right time, being at the forefront of creating a sustainable model. its still early doors, and there's a chance their could be dark horses in the wings, hope not and good luck to the Ogdens once again. UTD (up the dale).

Just been catching up on Jarvis and what an interesting character he seems to be. A fantasist, yes, but a very interesting one. don't suppose fans of Hull will agree, but i reckon that all floodlit games for the next five years could be run off this mans ego. but i must be careful of what i say as he has friends in china; thats the country, not pottery.

with past interests in Brum, villa, and charlton; and his apparent purchase of 25% of us in 2021. WHY THE INTEREST NOW, and what info would interest him now Holmes.
