| News Comment | Swans relying on home form after long climb back to the top — opposition focus at 10:12:08
In ignoring the infamous 4-0 FA Cup game, I remember a few years later Swansea at HQ in the League Cup. At 2-0 down the Swansea faithful are a little disconsolate. They do not boo their team though - they start to cheer ironically every time WE complete a pass. In response, and also I think to acknowledge Kenny Jackett (who was quite popular when here), the home crowd begins to cheer every Swansea touch of the ball. As this gathers momentum, I'm sitting in SA Road laughing my socks off, with the whole Swansea away end cheering QPR, while the entire QPR crowd cheer Swansea... |

I can't agree that Neil has just bought in his top targets (bear in mind that apparently he missed out only on Bassong/straight swap Hall and Bellamy/straight swap Adel) with no idea how and where to deploy them. I think the key will be not going in at half time a goal down - how many times do we have to prove we can't chase a game, particularly with that shocking back-to-basics second-half long-ball-to-Agyemang tactic... (what? Not even in the 25 you say? well, well...). PS Any local flooding reports BEFORE I set out? |
