Just looked at West Ham v Man United thread Delighted with the score but noted a penalty was awarded to WH in the 87th minutes and penalty finally scored in 90+2. VAR delay gone mad? Full time 90+14. Div 2 is fine by me U's
Frankly it is totally the wrong time for any sort of a football match not even giving a thought to travelling away Salford supporters for who I feel very sorry. I for one would never ever leave home at 5.15 for anything let alone a U's footy match. Saturdays at 3 00 or weekdays at 7 45 should be cast in stone. It's not as if we get millions of £'s for presumably being on tv.
My daughter, a Spirites fan is treating me tonight as a late Father's Day pressie. We couldn't agree which end we should sit so tossed a coin and I lost so sitting in the AWAY end . Not sure how that happened but will no doubt still get a lot of stick through the evening unless!!!..we can always hope

How many in the board sung "we want ten" for the last few minutes of a game? Well, I did at the demolition of Bradford City. 9-1 on 30/12/1961 There, that shows how old I am!
My wife and I also were at the memorable Leeds match accompanied by our unborn first child who has now turned into Chesterfield supporter ... Apart from the obvious memories of the match itself, the memories of walking back into town surrounded by Leeds supporters who were surprisingly cheerful and happy to chat with us. I cheekily offered to swap my U's scarf for a Leeds scarf and one of the Leeds supporters happily obliged. What has happened to football supporters since. More likely to swap punches now, not scarves.
DISGRACEFUL England should have an out and out Englishman who will have pride and joy in his England team's performance. How are foreigners going to have the pride and ambition to succeed with another country's national team, and especially if we meet the manager's own country's team in competition?
