If a player clearly wants to leave there's no point keeping him. The best we can hope for now is that there's a bidding war and we get a lot of money.
It's tragic. I can't think of a player we've had in recent years who'll be harder to replace. Jeff Hendrick had better have his boots ready. |

Our year-on-year improvement is so small as to be almost unnoticable. For us to make a leap to the top 6 by next season is going to take some serious signings. And I can't see that happening. |

I can't see them throwing money about in Jan. Not even a little. Crowds are well down this season, and we're not far enough up the table at the moment to warrant a gamble.
I really like the way the team is shaping up; but our only hope of big money is to sell Hughes in the summer. Tragic, but realistic. |

I've got to say I can see why the red card was given. From some angles it looked deliberate.
But the point with elbows is not whether they're deliberate - it's that it's dangerous. The guy getting his face smashed in doesn't care that you didn't mean it. |
