FORCED RELOCATION
at 19:55 10 Jun 2016

I understand what the club are trying to do to encourage new blood. If people want to relocate from south to somewhere else that is fine. The issue is that the new blood who have been on a list for a season or two can still have a seat in the ground if they want it, as some of me friends with kids have done over the last few years not force an exsisting season holder from their seat. In some cases seats have been filled in the south stand with new blood and the only time the get filled is if a big club are our opposition. I don't care who we play and so do most of the 1600 people in the south stand who have been season ticket holders for years. Also I would rather sit in my own seat in the Carling cup games but end up being forced around to the east/west stand as they close the south. I have have new blood waiting to watch with me and when there is space they come, but I am not prepared to let me seats go in prime spot, to watch with my kids from the corner of the ground for example. It would be like have your favorite band in your living room and then being told you can go upstairs and just listen because you neighbour wants to sit on your sofa.

Hi Phil, Sorry about the confussion. The ticket office categorically said that it is not an option but a manditory move. If there is space for your group to be relocated then you will be.

FORCED RELOCATION
at 17:04 10 Jun 2016

Update on this situation. I have been to the club ticket office this morning but had to visit on two occassions. First time to discuss what Phil S had stated on this topic yesterday the same info was also said in the evening post that is it is an option of moving rather than a forced move. Apparently the emails are sent out in batches and everyone, who is in the south stand with no one in their group 16 or under will be relocated.
There are loads of seats that have been vacated in the East Stand, so they have the ability to relocate upto a group size of 27 seats to a new location in the East Stand. This basically means unless you group is huge then you will be relocated. I suggested that people sitting in the south stands do so for their preference in watching the games from behind the goal and had the club thought about moving the away fans to a corner, so those in the South stand could get their mirrored seat in the North Stand. To which I was told this will never happen. The second visit I made was to sort out my own seat, which has been possible only because one of my group has now transferred his ticket to one of my children, who I couldn't get a seat for in my current row.
