Bringing back the likes of Mackie, Hill & Derry added more metal into the team. Did so well right up until Anton Ferdinand came on. As soon as I saw him ready to come on at 1-0 up, I knew we would lose. 2 mins after he came on, Utd scored.....5 mins later we were 3-1 down. He really excelled himself this time! :-) I don't like to knock players, but still don't know why we let Gorkks go and replaced him with Anton Ferdinand. He has been one of the worse players I have ever seen in the Premier League and at QPR. Send him out on loan to League 1 or 2. Don't think he would get in a Championship team. Crazy, that all the money we have spent on players and it's the old guard that give us the most effort and are most effective. Hill is too slow at full back but still a great centre back for us. No fuss or ego, just gives his all. Like Merson said, he will run through walls for you. |
