| News Comment | Swans fans deserve this to be treated as a derby game at 11:36:09
You're correct! If Matt Grimes takes on the same attitude as his manager toward this game, then Swans will come out losers. The midfield has to show good, proper form in order to get a result. |
| News Comment | Ogbeta out in the cold … Nothing from the Swans as his contract is due to expire at 21:36:52
Who in the Swans hierarchy allows this to happen? Goodness sakes, at least try them on for size and see if the shoe fits! Ogbeta, Kukharevych, Whittaker, Gyokeres, who else? Wasteful and not helpful, and in the latter two could have led to multi-million sales.. Drives me nuts when I see/read about how managers & admin recruiting dept can't get on the same page. IMO, a lot of the blame has to be directed at the manager for not even giving these youngsters a chance to show what they can do. |
| News Comment | Major injury blow plus Williams puts his squad on notice at 16:11:25
In the past, Grimes has been Mr. Steady Eddie, a dependable passer & leader on the field who directs the flow of the game for his team. Lately, he hasn't been on top of his game, but neither have a lot of his teammates. Captaincy in my opinion should be decided by the manager and the team, and not by fans. Of course, we fans can criticize captains, just like we criticize the manager, players, & administration at times. Swans need 6 points from the next two games, period! |
| News Comment | Swansea City : Are the club going to wriggle out of another forum with unanswered questions ? at 19:14:53
Sorry to hear that your daughter's brain cancer is diagnosed as terminal. My youngest brother had a glioblastoma (terminal brain cancer). Unfortunately for him, he and his daughter died tragically in an auto accident in 2011. He was 49 and she was only 17, a wonderful child, neice, and cousin and great friend to my #2 son who was the same age, same school. Keep up the pressure on this bunch! Swansea FC fans deserve better, and so does your website! |

Good to see Cooper start. I know he hasn't been at his best in his recent reserve roles but maybe this will boost his confidence and get him to play more directly. |
| News Comment | TEAM NEWS : Leicester City v Swansea City plus Yates & Mykola latest at 15:48:46
Swans need another center-back, preferrably one with some experience, quickness, and more pace than Cabango, Darling & Wood. That's a tall order and won't come cheap. I think Watson is Swans most valuable asset at the moment, especially if he can get one or two more quality recruits through the door. Rushworth, Key, Ginnelly, Tymon, sometimes Patino, and now Ronald (pray, hope) are good examples of his quality recruiting. So unfortunate about Ginnelly since a lot of us think he could've made a difference in Swans fortunes this season if he had stayed healthy. I still don't understand why Yates hasn't performed better. Sometimes all it takes is one newcomer to provide that spark; hopefully Ronald is that player. |
| News Comment | Swansea City : A statistical analysis by Swans Express at 19:10:05
Good article. After yesterday's debacle, Swans do need a lot of defensive help! 2nd half saw several chances to score but the defense was so poor that led to an overall fan feeling of despair and disgust. Midfield was poor as well with too many bad passes & turnovers. |
| News Comment | That transfer warning from Luke Williams gets louder and louder ! at 17:13:01
No signings in 2023 Jan window led to Martin finally changing his defensive setup with Swans going a season-ending run that nearly landed them into the playoffs. However, Swans desperately need new quality signings this Jan window. Not much activity elsewhere, especially in PL, probably due to FFP penalties lurking for Everton & Forest, and has most other clubs spooked. I think the market will get more active toward the deadline. |
| News Comment | How did Birmingham equalise so easily ? The move examined and there is fault everywhere at 17:35:04
I disagree with above comment. Grimes maybe, but more Yates & Patino, especially Patino. Fulton was on the backline along with other defenders. Patino needs to stop reading/listening to the Serie A rumors. That's all they are, Charlie! Rumors!! Yates had an opportunity to put the game away with Pato's cross in the box. It appears all he had to do was stretch a leg to just put a touch on the ball. |
| News Comment | Brandon Cooper returns to Swansea City with an awful disciplinary record at 15:16:01
Would hate to see the young man marked as an ill-tempered soccer player for one or two ugly incidents. If the club values him at all then both club and player need to get out in front of his mistake(s) and show good faith in getting him squared away and put behind him. |
| News Comment | Swansea City : Is there an answer to any of this ? 💲? at 15:44:46
Let me be clear here, I am definitely not a Levien fan! However, to castigate all Americans is too much! If you don't like what's going on, then do something about it. Form a group and buy the club. I think ReslovenSwan is correct in that we need to give Coleman time, Watson time. |
