Why didn't Biden and his administration release them?

No, stupidity & not obeying law enforcement officers aren't on that list. But please tell me why would any protester with an ounce of sense carry a firearm to a protest with so much law enforcement in the area? Why did he carry so many extra rounds of ammunition? Knowing that the place is a powderkeg and willing to put his life on the line protesting for protecting illegal alien child molesters?

My questions to Walz & MN attorney general Ellison, Mayor Frey, and Congresswoman Omar, and any other crazed TDS Democrat, "Why aren't you out on the streets leading the protests? Why aren't you actively on the front line leading the illegal obstruction of federal law that you ask of your voters? Each of you ask your MN citizenry to stand up and do the dirty work but all you do is throw gas on the fire, and blame Trump, DHS, and ICE for their legal extraction of illegal aliens, especially the ones who have committed major crimes, i.e., murder, rape, child molestation. Why is that?".

FYI, not everyone can carry a gun legally. In the United States, the federal Gun Control Act (18 U.S.C. § 922(g)) establishes specific categories of "prohibited persons" who are legally barred from possessing, purchasing, or transporting firearms or ammunition. People who have felonies and certain mental health histories are primary disqualifiers, but the list is more extensive.

From Google Gemini: 1. Who Cannot Legally "Bear Arms"?
Under federal law, the following categories of people are prohibited from possessing firearms:

Convicted Felons: Anyone convicted in any court of a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year (typically felonies).

Mental Health Adjudications: Individuals who have been "adjudicated as a mental defective" or involuntarily committed to a mental institution by a court or lawful authority.

Note: Voluntary admission for observation usually does not trigger this prohibition.

Illegal or Unlawful Aliens: Non-citizens who are in the U.S. illegally or those on non-immigrant visas (with specific exceptions like having a valid hunting license).

Unlawful Drug Users: Current users of or those addicted to any controlled substance (this includes marijuana, regardless of state legalization).

Domestic Violence Misdemeanants: Anyone convicted of a "misdemeanor crime of domestic violence."

Fugitives from Justice: People who have fled any state to avoid prosecution or testimony.

Restraining Orders: Individuals subject to a court order restraining them from harassing, stalking, or threatening an intimate partner or child.

Dishonorable Discharge: Anyone discharged from the U.S. Armed Forces under dishonorable conditions.

Renounced Citizenship: Former U.S. citizens who have formally renounced their citizenship.

Agree. Hoping we're in the game at the 60 minute mark. Bring in Widell and new recruit Gustavo subbed in to run at their back line. It'll be an interesting scenario.

"The US and British military couldn't deal with the Taliban" Well, Russia couldn't deal with them either.

Actually, Trump had a plan in place on how to deal with the Taliban but the plan wasn't followed through by Biden & his pitiful military and State Dept advisors. Biden ditched Trump's plan, announced to the world that the US would leave by a certain date (Aug 2021), then followed through with vacating Afghanistan.

And more disgustingly, Biden abandoned over $2Billion worth of military weaponry and equipment as well as giving up the very strategic and immensely important Bagram Air Base. In the confusion leading up to the US exit, eleven US service personnel were murdered by the Taliban, considered a huge stain on Biden's watch by a majority of American citizens.

Trump's plan was short-circuited by Biden's victory in the 2020 Presidential election. Trump's team was in the final stages of negotiating a peace deal with the Taliban, which included keeping Bagram Air Base as well as a mineral-rights deal.

Where Do You Think We Will Finish This Season?
at 02:40 17 Jan 2026

I just looked at the table again. It says Swans have played 26 games, so there are 20 games left to play, 10 H & 10 A. I think 60 points with 8 wins, 4 draws, 8 losses for 28 add'l points. Not what I expected at start of season but 28 pts might get Swans into top half.

I paid $2.29/gal here in NC; it's probably lower in SC since their state tax is less. Trump said his aim is to get price down to $2 or lower. If that happens, then prices for other things will drop as well due to lower transportation costs. Airline ticket prices have fallen as well.

That's the problem with legacy/mainstream media here in the US. It's called "yellow journalism", and is why most of the informed US citizens don't pay attention to mainstream media anymore. However, there are those, like Ms. Good and her wife, who "buy into" the radical left anti-Trump immigration protests, and think it's okay to impede, hinder, and disrupt ICE's legal process of dealing with those who have committed illegal immigration violations. When this illegal harassment on ICE officers becomes violent, then someone is bound to get hurt.

What is interesting is that more light is being shone on who Minnesota Governor Tim Walz really is. He's either a liar or Minnesota's top elected official who could have stopped the tens of $Billions of fraud being committed by Minnesota's Somalian refugees but decided to do nothing about it. Facts from solid independent journalists' reporting have stated that he knew about the fraud and is highly likely why he decided to drop out of running for governor for a 3rd term.

But how much he was involved is not known yet. Rumors are that he was selected to be Kamala Harris's running mate in the 2024 Presidential election because he promised to bring in $50 million to the Harris campaign from the Somalian refugee fraud crowd. Left-wing democrats want the ICE program to be a major story, because they know if they can get the American public behind them, then this will distract/impede the Dept of Justice from going to other states such as Calif, Fla, NY, and Texas, to uncover additional fraudulant activities.

Treasury Secretary, Scott Bessent, said recently, that according to the GAO, (Gov. Acct. Office), the US government is losing between $300 Billion to $600 Billion ANNUALLY!!

Swans need to put a lot of effort in extending Viggie's contract and giving him a pay raise ...now. How many saves was he credited with yesterday?

From what I could tell, it looked like he gives up too much space and doesn't have great anticipation. Are these things correctable?

Martin tried to "run him out of town" and kept him in his doghouse for about 3 months. Then Martin welcomes him back and starts him alongside of Grimes where they forged their infamous ticky-tack passing partnership, probably at the behest of Martin.

I stated the same about 3-4 weeks ago when everyone was piling on Key. Give him a go with an Eom or Inoussa in front of him, where they can do some creative overlapping. He's young enough to learn that position. Would probably increase his value as well.

As I recall from a Swansea Independent article on him was that he's not an overnight game-changer type of manager, that it'll take a while for his methodology to get up and going. Maybe their fanbase didn't or doesn't know this?

Jack247, LOL! I just finished watching RichardO's posted video of all of last season's goals (see West Brom New Years Day on 16:35 - Dec 31). Where in the world is that Cullen!?! Just goes to show that he definitely has his moments!! I still would like to see Wales and Nzingo be given some significant game time though.

Happy New Year!

Your point is well-taken. I also "defended" Cullen last Spring and earlier this season. His energy level chasing down the ball when up top is second to none in the Swans squad.

However, as I stated yesterday, Cullen's not as fast as Nzingo, & imo, isn't as good a dribbler nor passer, doesn't run the seams nor finishes better (comparing observations in watching Nzingo here in person & videos of his goals versus watching Cullen on broadcasts & videos). Nzingo looks so natural in his movement and I would say is the more natural athlete.

Cullen, obviously, has the experience edge here; but with that said, Nzingo is probably on a lower wage, and is only 21 yrs old.

I wonder sometimes if players like Nzingo & Wales, if given a couple hundred minutes at the Championship level (or, enough significant game minutes to find their feet), would they impress enough and then be preferred over players such as Cullen? Maybe all they need is to be given opportunities.

I've seen Nzingo play here in North Carolina, and could see why they might want to try Nzingo with his 8 goals/2 assists. He has the skills, can play as a #10. He's no Vip; not that type of player. But he does offer more than Cullen, faster than Cullen, completed more than 87% of his passes, finds the seams, and could/would work well with Widell. He played more than 1400 minutes for Carolina Core, and according to one of their top managers would want him to return. I think he's only 21 years old.
