I can cope with the fact they were wasting apple crumble and custard, but thank God it wasn't rhubarb crumble !!! That would be a crime worthy of death row !!! |

Not just his finishing, and habit of being in the right place, his pace and energy is both incredible and relentless and from minute one to minute ninety !! But hats off to Kone also, yesterday. Two very good assists. [Post edited 7 Dec 0:38]

Blimey. Harsh criticism. If we had a player, who has scored 250 goals for our club, and we were calling him sh*t second half of last season, a season when he scored 29 goals and we won the league, sorry that point is seriously not correct. Could cope with one of our players being that sh*t. Even though, he has not been on form, still got 5 goals so far, and none of the other new attackers has as yet done much. He is a top player, who wants to contribute, and he is frustrated, probably unwise to comment, and Slot probably does want to win his way with his own team. Would wonder how we would react to a player kicking off, with this record at the club. He wants to win, play and score goals. And its both as if its not his team are performing without him. Think, we might be a little less critical than above !!! [Post edited 7 Dec 1:39]

He was just bad all round. He gave some terrible decisions against West Brom also. I thought every time a player gets treatment, he has to go off. Hadn't known of the fact that rule is invalid if the offending player is booked. |

What i would say Brian with your comment on Madsens stats being poor all game. This is where stats on their own, can be misleading. Last season in many games, he could have had a much better pass completion percentage, but if they are all one yard passes backwards that then puts your teammate under pressure and we lose possession consequently could easily mean pass completion stats are meaningless. He definitely slows the game down and considers one if he can play a more definitive pass forward or even thinking thay his pass sideways.or out wide at the time he plays it then enables that player to pass immediately forward placing the wide man with a run down the flanks. Tackles made percentages also can be misleading likewise. The very fact he attempts many more can harry players into mistakes even if his particular tackle does not immediately win the ball back. He is like a new signing this season. And i know i am one of only a few that wait for improvements and hope more than most but tbh with Madsen, i felt he had lost all confidence and like Celar i had felt he was too fragile for the championship. He is not only a totally unrecognisable player but also in terms of his character. Almost Wilkins esque at times at a lower level. Thoughtful, has time, always plays the right ball and can make the important tackles also. An incredible turnaround. Think every Rangers fan has been impressed. Struggling to remember over the years of any player that has improved out of all recognition in one season to the next as Madsen has somehow managed. [Post edited 6 Dec 19:46]

Money talks.... At home t20 and the hundred makes the big bucks. Top players go to the IPL and Big Bash. County Cricket is low on the priorities. And on a central contact too, zero chance to play. But, why not take the opportunity of warm up game in between tests. Thats not looking too clever now, either !! |

There are batsmen in our team that have either not made the step up as expected or are incredibly inconsistent. Crawley, Pope, Stokes would place these three in the inconsistent pile. On their day, brilliant but too often out for low scores. Brook, Jacks, Smith in the not there yet for me. Surprised Jacks selected here. He is a one day player. Hardly played any county games in last two seasons. Smith is another really who is a one day player. Brook just plays every ball like he must make a boundary. Quelle surprise he then makes mistakes !!! |

Trump wearing his MAGA cap. Stars and Stripes everywhere and suddenly USA are a competive team for this World Cup only. Is Reggie Cannon in their squad ??? He was a good player apparently but wasnt sure if he was a real person as was rarely seen in public !!!@ |

We are just about coping with the loss of Broad and Anderson, especially with the return to the test team of Jofra Archer, who i think is a class apart as a bowler for England. However, when the day comes that Joe hangs up his bat and gloves for the last time, where is the long term quality successor in the batting ranks Duckett is currently our second most consistent batter, but beyond him. Crawley, Pope, Brook, Smith, Jacks, Stokes of the current vintage all have class, but all play the idiotic shot once too often. Root 66 needs to keep playing until he hits 50 and am talking years on the planet, otherwise wgo takes up the mantle !!!! |

Personally want Wealdstone at home or Slough Town away. Both possible banana skins - but lets face it we could get drawn against my old schools girls under 11s side and be on the end of an unfirtunate reverse. Am expecting all those who dont make selection even for the Development Side to be selected and that would be the case, even if we are drawn away to one of the mighty from the premier league. For me, if you are reading Christian, Julien or even you Ben Williams, we really actually do want to see our favourite players selected for this one. Just once lets take it seriously. It would do wonders for fan engagement and brownie points all round for those in charge. But we all sadly can predict the eventuality.... A free Saturday then on 4th round week !!! |

I have zero respect for the police today and there has always been corruption and a lack of a moral compass in who they chase and who they dont. So often, some get away with so much and others get hounded for ridiculously innouous deeds. Its as bad today as it ever was. Only recently someone was prosecuted for using a homophobic word in a text to a friend. Somehow, it was picked up on. Its not something the legal system should have any input towards. Not saying i agree with it, but it was a private communication, not even on a social media site and was said after the person had actually got a fractured skull from an attack and was suffering brain fog snd sent the text whilst in hospital. They got prosecuted with no previous record at all and before the people that had inflicted the assault on this person. Its not great what some post on social media etc, yet people have even got custodial sentences for posts especially with regards to atrocities like the murder of the three little girls not so long ago. The fact that even after the Post Office scandal, so many have yet to receive a penny. Why?,? A bank transfer today takes seconds. And as for the Epstein Scandal, only person prosecuted so far has been a woman and the people who could have spoken out in court, Epstein himself and Virginia Guiffre both mysteriously committed suicide. The amount of security, Epstein himself, was under, it was impossible for him to be able to do this. Even, going back to the demise of Princess Diana. There are questions unanswered. Just saying, money and power corrupts and our society is less fair and very biassed towards those with money and power. Huw Edwards not getting a custodial sentence for one. Obviously Saville and everyone knew about that at the time too. This Hillsborough disaster, everyone on planet earth has been aware that the police were culpable. It was known by most from that sad day in 1989. So 36 and a half years later, its been decided by yet another enquiry, it was the polices fault. However, basically those in charge that day, are all retired or have passed away. Perhaps, the justice system would like to investigate the Vietnam War or re hash the Versaille treaty at the end of the World War One. Personally, i would like to see justice for King Harold dying by an arrow that pierced his left eye in 1066. These people need to be held to account !!! Seriously the legal system in this country and in other so called leading nations of the so called civilised nations of the world is a mess and always has been. Justice in this case and so many others, has never been a priority... But hey ho. Thats for another day or lifetime as the case may be.... [Post edited 5 Dec 0:28]

I mean after this, we have Smith, Jacks, Atkinson, Carse all can bat, but i always worry still a collapse is on the way.... Decent position at the moment, especially after being 5 for 2. |

Woke up early. Watched Starc bowl the first over. Well done Ben Duckett - Golden Duck...... Pope out for a duck as well. Bonus Crawley has his first runs of the series. Another two day test match perhaps. The arrogance of Stokes and McCullum turning down a warm up game to get some form back for the batters !!!! Think I will try get a couple hours more kip !!! Blimey 18 just. Sign him up and maybe get Paul Furlong to keep him as his protege, maybe Les too. Oh hold on a minute, neither them are here now !!!! Whatever we do, we need to have better outcomes for youth and not just roll on Eze for the next ten years and more !!! |

How old is this guy. He has pace and is built like an outhouse. Top finishes also. He could be a Sinclair Armstrong or a Rayan Kolli or the dream Les mk2. Sadly my money would be on Sinclair Armstrong reimcarnation. Will keep an eye on this young man. Hopefully will continue to progress as against what some others have done... |

I put on here it should be in the public domain Bobby so you are actually criticising me , when what I have put on here is the same as yourself. This is all very unnecessary and wrong. Anyhow this thread WAS about Paul Furlong. I am not itk and if people do know things, all well and good as far as I am concerned. I think its best to leave it there, as this back and forth is getting nowhere and its incredibly very cross wires. You are criticising me when I have the same opinion as yourself. And at the nd of the day this board is like a hobby for me, a nice distraction, away from all the everyday stresses of life. For me this kind of intensity of anger is too much and needs towards others is very unnecessary. Its a board where we ultimately want the same thing. Success for QPR, but there's no need for such antagonism towards others who may or may not have a difference of opinion. I dont mind if others have different views either. Everyone is different. Be boring if we were all the same and had the same opinions and I can change my mind on occasions if others offer alternative viewpoints to things I may not have considered. Anyhow all I can say is Peace and C'mon You Rr's ... Best to leave this now [Post edited 30 Nov 17:52]
