The first half was great to watch, the 2nd was the opposite. I thought Russel Martin had come back to set out and manager the team i nthe 2nd half. Same old issue - lots of posession then we just get taken apart by a quick counter attack or lapse by a defender. Who are we going to get as a manager that can turn things around? |

I couldnt even be bothered to read the entire report...got to the bit where the (weekly) slating of Will started and gave up. Maybe I saw a different game? Had our forwards managed to convert their chances we would have won 4-0. The defense looked pretty solid and Swansea were not allowed to threaten much. If we keep playing like that the results and confidence will come. As I have said before, we are still in the Russel Martin hangover period. At least the tippy tappy boreball seems to be reducing. |

Not sure where the continued obsession with Danny Röhl and the dislike of Will Still comes from. We all want instand results but keep changing manager isn't great. We still have the after effects of Russel's management with poor defense and tippy tappy football which the players can't seem to shake off. If there are complaints about Will to the board, they probably stem from the fact that Will has sussed that some of the players are cr*p, the main one being the captain. |

The reason he keeps changing is because they all look average. Hard to choose which average player to pick. At least Stevens seems to be out of favour! Adams is good at this level so he should get the nod. Bazunu has never been any good even at this level. The defense still looks shakey but has improved of late (maybe because Stevens isnt in it).
And they still seem to revert back to Tippy Tappy football at times! |
