They used to sell cans of beer in the canteen at our office in the early 80's. I always thought it was probably an attempt to limit lunchtime drinking as you might buy a can or two with your lunch but you would definitely drink more if you went down the pub for lunch.

I remember collecting soccer stickers before Panini came out. Used to have to glue the into an album. I thought QPR had the best kit and had a bit of a crush on Rodney Marsh 😂. It was 1969 and I was 10 y.o.

I see The Modfather also mentioned these stickers, I had forgotten about the chewing gum.

The only thing that came close to the stickers were the cardboard League tables from Shoot.
