Fair enough, forgot about that one.

I'm pretty sure that will be labour.

The Corbynista brand is built on victimhood, they thrive off what they see as their enemies i.e. those that have temerity to disagree.

Blairites et al havent said a word for ages now.

The tragedy is if a tory MP were elected tidal lagoon and other things would be assured.

It would be politically insane for it not to happen, but labour labour labour labour.

There is a lot wrong with that and especially at that age. He's already been brainwashed by all the other sheep out there. In 2010 he was not even a teenager.

When I was 18 I had other things on my mind, but I do remember being more towards 'tax the rich' 'peace and love' 'everyone is the same' yadda yadda

Behave yourself, it's a mutual nudge nudge wink wink win-win situation.

Hypocrisy abounds in our society

Predictable - he wants a Gov to pay for his lifestyle.

I want everything free man because it's like fair innit

It's high for a small business to absorb, multinationals can easily do it but someone struggling to turnover a profit not so easy.

I'm just questioning this sort of virtue signalling nonsense. If you've been very productive and you've added value to a business then of course you should get a pay rise but not out of some sense of entitlement because it's 'not fair' - define fair. We are very decadent society.

When we all know that the tories are there for the beating at the moment, as someone who has voted tory I would have happily voted for a centrist labour party this time.

Now bare in mind, I probably speak for millions in a similar position. But you'll never change them.

There's zero point in responding to you.

You have not taken on any points I've said.

If you're 49 with a family and kids of course it's not a great salary to live on, I just said it's fine if you're young and single. In my first post I made the economic case for not increasing it TOO HIGH,

You live in some fantasy world where all businesses can pay you 25k plus - get real. People get higher salaries for being highly skilled, experience, qualifications etc. You don't get high pay because you wish for high pay. It doesn't work like that, good grief what would be the point in trying to better yourself.

Isn't it noticeable that when more right leaning labour is defeated, it's an outrage - bare in mind this is beaten by a few % but if left wing labour loses it's a great base to work on i.e. we didn't get completely trashed the revolution is coming one more heave

You just don't get it, do you? Far too blinkered by your ideology.

I would rather be on 15k a year with a job than on the dole which is what will be the consequence of it going too high.

If you're young and single 15k is absolutely fine, shared house. Money to party, money to eat and money to save.

But carry on with your moral superiority crap

I wouldn't be embarking on it. This is one of the reasons I think it's insane in a global World. We have to work with others for our MUTUAL benefit.

Of course they would never be allowed back. As someone pro EU, I would work with our partners to have a mass deportation policy.
