That was OK today, a lot better. Two teams lacking a bit of quality but going for it. I honestly think we shaded it, but last 15 was heart in your mouth time.
EBD needs special praise as does Jimmy Dunne who kept Jordan Hugill mostly quiet.
I was on the other side of the post for Sam Field's shot, it looked pretty close and would have been deserved if it had crept in. |

My Reading supporting friend, seems to think they have missed the deadline for handing in an update to their business plan which was due today. Currently the EFL have to sign any expenditure off and it looks like Reading may not have factored in the increased energy costs and missed the financial targets set by the EFL last year.
They are as big a mess as we are. |

Just Back,
Two sides pretty evenly matched. Difference was their worldly goes in ours hits the bar. We have so little up front though its difficult to see where the goals will come from.
Not to defend Dykes, but he didn't get any quality service and neither Chair or Shopido got with in 10m of him at anytime. I think he needs someone up with him, just not that loan man up front type. Bonne did well and looks more suited to the style of play. |

Surely if they have the ability and are proven, then just because they are the wrong side of 30 doesn't mean you should write them off. If we applied the current only players under 25 logic, then Hill and Derry would never have been signed. OK, there is an argument that they are more injure prone, but a player can have a career threatening injury at any age. You need a mix of youth and experience, to play the short or long game. |

Completly agree, its not like he can't bet on other sports. At first glance the sentance looks harsh, but in reality as you say a very lucky boy. |

Andros Townsend's ban is back-dated to May 23rd so in effect he doesn't serve a ban, and is avaliable for preseason matches. |
