When I made my posts about the added costs it was more about excessive charges. £7.50 postal charge on top of a fiver for a physical card is excessive. If it was a fiver inclusive of posting, that's fair but an extra postage charge? |

That'll be the £3.05 it costs for a next day signed for letter. And the club are adding £4 |

As I stated in an earlier post, I've already sent emails asking the questions. I'm still waiting for a reply. I used to get emails and snail mail but for the last 18 months.... nothing. Just about sums up the club really. |

There is a big book that names all the shareholders. I've seen it, it's got my name and address in it too as I have checked it. Going digital isn't the excuse. |

I did write to the club before the agm. I'm still waiting for a reply. They've no excuse. I was a season ticket holder therefore they should still have my address, they used to send correspondence to it. The should have my email address as they also used to correspond that way too. It's not just me either, my wife no longer get anything from the club. And they wonder why people are not watching...... The club is rotten from the core. It's at the moment run by people that couldn't care about the fans. I certainly won't be going back if Guage is anything to do with the club in the future. [Post edited 24 Apr 10:07]

And it was a nightmare getting back to your car. It's not so bad when you have an hour or two to get home, but finding the correct stop then waiting nearly an hour for the transport to arrive was unacceptable considering its a 4-5 hour blast up the motorway |

I've still had no response regarding my lack of agm notification despite emailing the club several days before the event. I've had no details about these extra shares available either. It shows (to me) what this club actually cares about its fans and more importantly its shareholders that actually have a financial stake in the club. |

I've mostly had communications from the club. Strangely, I didn't get a season ticket reminder. Not that I would have brought one. |

Neither myself or my wife have received notification. |

Don't accept it as part of going to football. Just don't go..... simples. |

I've stopped going to games because of this. I was sick and tired of being the one that got searched when my wife just walked in. If you complain you are "being racist" I dont need the hassle so I just walked away from the club I watched home and away for over 30 years. I found something else to do on Saturdays and don't miss the football. My wife who has been watching the Dale longer than me has also stopped going due to her no longer enjoying the experience due to the dickheads in the Sandy. [Post edited 30 Nov 2023 11:49]

Believe it or not, I've still not had my renewal form. I haven't renewed by the way. |

Taurus security are the reason I no longer go to Spotland. Continually being searched whilst my wife wasn't and when you complain you get accused of being racist. |

That's partly the reason for the first time in 35 years I've not bought a season ticket. Apart from the being searched problems this club does not give a hoot about you. It's "customers". Fcuk em.... |

Or.... buy a classic vehicle. Anything over 40 years old. No tax, no mot, no London charges. From the transport for london site. Historic vehicles You can apply with the DVLA stop paying vehicle tax if your vehicle was built more than 40 years ago. This date moves forward on a 40-year rolling system. For example, when the ULEZ launched in April 2019, vehicles built before 1979 were eligible to apply for historic vehicle tax class. All vehicles that have a historic vehicle tax class are exempt from the ULEZ. This tax class excludes any vehicle used commercially (for example, coffee vans or street food vans). In line with the existing LEZ discount all vehicles constructed before 1 January 1973 are exempt from the ULEZ, regardless of commercial use or otherwise. If your vehicle meets the above criteria but is registered outside the UK, it is also exempt, but you will need to register it with us before travelling in the zone. [Post edited 29 Jul 2023 16:08]
