is it the owners who have snookered them selves though ?
at best ruben is writing his monthly cheque to keep the doors open leaving the running of the club to hoos and the wonderboy , they will talk on a regualr basis but maybe ruben has seen through some of the bull sh!t coming from the board and has its been rumoured before stood in and said NO he stays .
its now put presure firmly on the board to sack him.
highly unlikely maybe nourry will be shifted sideways

thing is we are in danger of losing a manager with very few faults you can lay at his feet, Thats rare for us these days , you mention willock , who by the time he had inherited him had given up more than his hamstrings had done , im still amazed he kept us up with the players he had aval . this years has been an improvment . and likely next season would also with the right players coming in during the summer also been an improvment , issue will be as always nourrys scouring the lower leages of south america etc and going whole hog as we did at the start of this season with players who had no idea how to play football twice a week at a standard they had never played before , |

Crouch was more guilty of missing the easiest header of his career in that game at the school end perfect height weight of pass the perfect ball , crouch put it just past the post , im sure if you watch the highlight he smiles after it. |

quick question ,
When not if marti does leave ,in all likelihood in the next few weeks, which spin will the club put on it ?
will we go the tried and trusted route of announcing say satio and maybe another player has signed first ?
maybe some amazing news on the ground development , which will be starting as soon as the club remove a colony of newts rarely seen in the uk since the last ice age so bare with us on that one.
or the old club fav of and now we would like to announce an old club friend as manager , Gary oneil Warburton , usual suspects ? maybe even moving paul forlong into the hot seat , is that hangmans noose?
never before have i looked forward to how the club once again decide how they think they can hoodwink the poor fans all over again only to have change again in jan when its gone fully pete tong again with this years fans favouite manager .
You mention the club was always a stepping stone for marti and it was a concern that before he joined us he did leave clubs after two years , if the club wasnt concerned by that why did they appoint him in the first place let alone extend his contract last summer.
for anyone hiring somebody a cv which shows somebody is a regular mover from job to job 18 months 2 years is usually a red flag dosnt seem the case this time or did the board think they could change that and he would stay longer . [Post edited 24 Apr 15:05]

we have been here way to many times before when a popualr manager leaves install a fans fav to take the pressure off the board

its how we always do things and it usually goes very very wrong and we are back to square one . crap start players who dont fit the style of football we are suppsoed to be playing and repeat . |

made sense at the time , all ready for next season , lump of cash coming in for delap prob as well and should be top 3 next season , must be nice having a DOF CEO who know what the feck they are doing |

dont think anyone has an issue with a DOF , issue is its having one who actually done the job before , understands football and all the baggage which goes with it .instead we end up with a college geek who was tasked to find the very person that funnily enough turned out to be him what a coincdence that was. its been the same issue since the present owners come in , not hjaving somebody with a football brain running the club while they arent here , anyone remember phil beard ? yep he was brilliant as well but way less dangerous than our present CEO/DOF , and what ever else hes taken on job wise . as clive and others have said hes a total control feeak when was the last time he said a word ? did he say anything during the good run ? .or was he sat at his desk cursing that we was doing ok while mrati took some credit , this is likely to only end one way which is a shame for the club and the fans , |

apologies , didnt remember the name , my gut feeling with the clubs looking for a new manager hes going to go , no inside knowldge but few clubs will fancy taking him on with much better resources than we will prob ever have , |
