Paulo Sousa says he is happy to let Stephen Dobbie leave on loan

The Swansea City striker has attracted interest from Aberdeen in the transfer window and Paulo says that if it helps Dobbie then he is prepared to let him leave on a loan spell.

Dobbie has failed to land a permanent position at the club since becoming Roberto Martinez' last signing for the club in the summer.

Speaking to BBC Sport, Sousa said "It's not easy for a player who isn't playing

"We encourage these players to look at other possibilities for playing and Stephen is one of them.

"I'm happy for him if he can play in this moment. He's short of opportunities and he knows that.

"Hopefully we can look for the best chance for him to be happy with himself and happy with his game."
