LAST VISIT

Dale threw away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with Northampton when they were last at Spotland in October 2017

Ian Henderson scored twice by the hour-mark to set up what looked like a crucial victory, but The Cobblers hit back with two goals in the space of eight minutes to draw level.

Even then the drama wasn’t over when the visitors won an injury-time penalty, but Josh Lillis pulled-off a fine save from Jon-Joe O’Toole’s spot-kick to save his team’s point.
