Kwadwo Baah signs for Watford

It's now been confirmed that Kwadwo Baah will join Watford upon the expiry of his contract at Rochdale for an undisclosed fee.

After several weeks of rumours, Rochdale youngster Kwadwo Baah has finally signed for Watford. Watford will be a Premier League team once again next season after bouncing straight back from their relegation last season to a second placed finish in the Championship this season.

Baah has signed a 5-year deal with the Hornets for an undisclosed fee (as always), believed to be somewhere between £120,000 and £150,000. The deal has been agreed ahead of what could have turned into a messy tribunal as the 18-year-old was out of contract at Dale this summer having rejected a deal to stay at Spotland and now joins the Vicarage Road club on 1st July when he’s contract has expired.

Since joining us from Crystal Palace, he was always cited as having the potential to go on to bigger and better things and he had all but joined Premier League Champions Manchester City in January. BBM even mentioning it on Sky Sports News but the deal fell through due to a failed medical.

Baah burst onto the scene this season with three goals, all sensational, and was soon the subject of much publicity.

He leaves Spotland having played 44 times in all competitions and scored 3 goals.

Good luck Kwadwo.
