It's fair to say the summer recruitment is well underway now as Dale make their second signing in two days.

The new board of directors said we'd see some players coming in this week and following on from yesterday's signing of Connor McBride, Dale have brought in Tobi Adebayo-Rowling on a one-year deal.

The 27-year-old attacking right wing-back was released by Notts County recently and quickly targeted by Jim McNulty.

Tobi started out at Sligo Rovers in Ireland where he made 60 league appearances over two years before moving to Cork City and then Bromley in 2018.

He made 57 league appearances for Eastbourne Borough before signing for Ebbsfleet United in 2020. He impressed enough at Ebbsfleet to get himself a move to Notts County who won the National League and he then played 19 times in the Magpies' first season back in League Two.
