Dale’s third home game of the season against Woking on Saturday will be refereed by WILLIAM DAVIS.

The Salford-based chartered physiotherapist is in his first season refereeing in the National League and Saturday is his third appointment at this level following Oldham v AFC Fylde and Solihull Moors v Braintree Town.

William acted as fourth official at Dale’s home game against Chesterfield last September at a time when he was refereeing in the National League North.

His season ended with Brackley v Chorley in the National League North play-offs, which preceded his elevation to the new list which covers matches in League One, League Two and the National League.
