Dale will meet another new official on Monday afternoon when their home game against Sutton United is refereed by DECLAN BROWN.

The Manchester official has joined the newly-aligned National List for this season, although he did take charge of a couple of games in the fifth tier towards the end of last term.

Declan spent the majority of 2024/25 refereeing in National League North, culminating in Chorley v King’s Lynn in the play-offs.

He was in the middle at Brackley v Eastleigh on the opening day of this season and last weekend refereed Birmingham City U21 v Stoke City U21 in Premier League 2.
