Dale’s clash with Forest Green Rovers at The New Lawn on Saturday will be refereed by TOM REEVES.

The Coventry-based official is in his fifth season on the National List and regularly referees in League One and League Two, but Saturday will be his first National League appointment of the campaign.

Dale only previously saw the languages teacher in August 2022, when he refereed the 1-0 defeat at Stevenage in what turned out to be Robbie Stockdale’s final game as manager.

He has been one of the most active referees since his appointment to the list in the summer of 2021, overseeing more than 140 matches across the EFL and various cup competitions.

Saturday will be Tom’s tenth game of this season, with him showing 26 yellow cards in the previous nine. His most recent appointment was Burton Albion v Plymouth Argyle last Saturday, while he was also in the middle for the recent Carabao Cup tie at Barnsley where Brighton romped to a 6-0 win.
