Dale’s game at Woking on Saturday will be refereed by a new face in ROSS MARTIN.

This will be the Gloucestershire official’s first Dale appointment in what is his third season refereeing at this level.

Mr Martin’s first National League game was Maidenhead v Oldham in February 2024, following his mid-season promotion to the list.

Ross appears to have been sidelined through injury for the majority of last term, as he didn’t referee from November onwards, but he has been busier this season with two matches in the National League, four in the EFL, one in the EFL Trophy and one in the FA Cup.

His most recent game was Wigan v Port Vale in League One last Saturday, while Ross’s last National League appointment was Brackley v Wealdstone at the start of this month.
