Dale’s final game of 2025 against Hartlepool United at Accrington on Tuesday night will be refereed by WILL DAVIS.

This is the third time the Salford-based chartered physiotherapist has refereed Dale since July, as he was the man in the middle for the pre-season friendly against Grimsby Town and then the campaign’s opening home league fixture versus Altrincham.

Now in his second season on the National List, Mr Davis refereed Dale twice at Spotland last term.

In August, he oversaw the comfortable 3-0 home win over Woking, before returning in February for the 4-0 loss to Barnet.

Will took charge of 17 National League matches last season, as well as two in the EFL, while this term he has officiated six games in the fifth tier, as well as three in the EFL Trophy and FA Cup.

His most recent appointment was Morecambe v Boston at the start of this month.
