Rochdale have signed Aston Villa attacking midfielder Kane Taylor on loan until January.

The 21-year-old, who previously came through Manchester City’s academy, spent last season with Oldham Athletic, making 16 League Two appearances and scoring twice.

Taylor will wear number 21 and becomes Ian Watson’s latest addition as Dale look to bounce back from their humiliation last week and finally get our first win of the summer.
