London referee Paul Howard will referee Dale’s final match before Christmas when we travel over the M62 to Bradford City on Saturday.

Mr Howard is in his third season on the National List and this will be his third Dale appointment in that time.

In October 2021 he refereed our 3-2 home win over Sutton United, while in February Paul was in the middle for the 2-1 defeat at Forest Green Rovers.

He officiated 29 games in each of his first two seasons on the National List, but Saturday will only be his eighth appointment this term due to injury keeping him out until mid-October.

His previous seven matches have seen 15 yellow cards and one red, and his most recent outing was at Gillingham v Salford City on 3rd December.
