Really good performance after a slow start. Manning is a poor defender but has really quality coming forward. Maybe shouldnt play against the top teams. Schlotterbeck was impressive, very calm and appears to read the game well and brought the best out of Wood. Amazing nobody has bid for Leo. Larin is the real deal at the moment, his hold up play and first touch were excellent never mind 2 great goals. JWP was quietly effective and could be important if Downes or Jander are out for any length of time

They took a lead with a really fluke goal It took a massive detection.After tha we controlled and dominated the match The referee is obviously using a different rule book to the rest of us If your tackle tripped on opponent it was a free kick but if you wrestled him down you played on At least he did the same for both
Some top class performances from our team Defence,m/f and forward line looked like a team that knew they could win

Manning and Scienza down the left is the best left side in the league I reckon. Azaz was on it as well today. Glad Fellows finally got his goal and as for Larin. OMG cheat code in this league. What a rich vein of form he's in.

Great addition to the defense Scholetterbeck looked solid enough.

1 or 2 more games to get ahead of the skates, then onwards up the table!

5-1 and a well deserved, belief rebuilding performance from Saints against a good team with a good manager - as joyful a victory to watch as when we won 5-1 at Wrexham last season, and Slotterbecks and JWPs arrivals seem to have brought some much needed comfort in the group and for us fans. This - and Azaz being in that kind of mood accompanied by very classy displays by Larin and Leo, and all other players are also hitting the day - it suddenly looked very hard to be the visiting team at Saint Mary's.
So good to see.
Could magic suddenly be on its way back after months of hangovers, a shaky start to the season, and a horrible display in the league cup just 4 days ago?

I hope Downs' head injury heals quickly ; he was certainly also class today until a clash of heads with Braggy meant he had to come off. JWP delivered a fully satisfying substitution for Downs.
