I was just reading about this, and this is exactly what I was thinking - a delaying tactic.
Hope it is not successful for a number of reasons, but if the FA/PL let him play while it's heard, and then upholds his ban - what if Carroll playing results in West Ham gaining points - any club could go down this route in the future, depending on their fixture list. If they do try and it's thrown out again, then they should double the ban. |  |

what I don't understand is when they agree to abide by the league rules etc etc how can they then go and try and get outside interference. It's the prems competition they make the rules all the clubs agree to abide by them so tough $hit surely. Maybe the Prem will revoke Wet Spams membership and kick em out of THEIR comp.
