think we actually get one for finishing 3rd.

Don't spoil his fun Col,we wont have "won" a trophy anyway,it will just have been "gained",very similar to our 2 recent promotions

Its remarkable that we are so high up given the modest size of our home support. It would be interesting to see a table of average away support as a % of average home attendance - that might well be a table we finish top of.

Who Gives a toss.

Dale League 1

bury league 2

Thats all Diddy needs to concern himself with.

We needs to concentrate on the likes of Sheffield United and Diddy needs to work out the quickest way to Gateshead and Dagenham.

This is brilliant.

for all the obsessed crowd counting bURY do and self proclaimed magnificent away support they still average less than Dale last season to 23 identical away venues.

Surely there is a digit missing from the Bradford numbers? It must be that all those teams in Div are fiddling away supporters numbers as well!

Rochdale's achievements;

Rochdale played 36 consecutive seasons in the Football League's bottom division from 1974 to 2010, the longest time any team has been in the bottom division of the League,

The club have the lowest average position of all the clubs which have existed continuously in the Football League since its expansion to four divisions in 1921—22 (76th), and since its expansion to 92 clubs in 1950—51 (79th). Additionally, they share with Hartlepool United the distinction of having played the most seasons in the Football League without ever reaching the top two tiers (82 seasons through 2009—10).

Which website did you copy and paste that from? Kudos for the effort.

Im guessing we will have alot of distraught Bury fans trolling this site over the coming months now they have lost their biggest derby/earner/feeder club.

Given the fact that Bury had the considerable advantage of being in the League for many years when hardly anyone else was and could therefore just pootle along in the old second division for donkeys years avoiding the two relegation spots, I hardly think scoring 1,000 goals in all four tiers is that much of an achievement. It's more an admission of mediocrity for a club that likes to make so much of its time in the top two divisions.

You object to me just postings historical facts , please don't take it personal as it was wasn't meant to hurt , just keeping 1 or 2 egos from expanding too much .

I admit you are in the most exciting periods of your history but this is as good as it gets for you boys , IF you win League1 next season you will only match what your Historically larger neighbours did in 1997 .

I cannot help history , it's there because we earned the right .

We'll forget the little matter of the FA Cup wins until you win League1 .

ps ; Your dreams are our achievements .

Not a problem with facts or even a mildly interesting post for that matter would be an ideal start for you,you seem to forget other highlights in your history?Shall I start you off, expulsion from the fa cup, ripping off lots of companies only paying back 10p in the £,do you need any more history while we're on the topic?
As the best manager in the lower leagues a mr Keith Hill said, history was boring at school and its even more so now
