I need to do more black and white, but the subjects I shoot most don't really work in monochrome. I'll have to make the effort i think.

I'll happily take a wedding on personal recommendation (friends, family, etc) but i don't really push that side of my photography too much. I think i ended up doing two or three last year. | | | |

Parlay's pictures are very good to, love the Kangaroos on the beach, I've never imagined seeing them venturing onto beaches. [Post edited 6 Mar 2015 23:01]

The Kangaroos are from a place called Cape Hillsborough. They are there without fail at the crack of dawn digging for worms and whatever they can find. If you ever venture to North Queensland then its worth a visit, there are whales dolphins, turtles, eagles - everything you can imagine... and the place is pretty much deserted in terms of people. amazing photo opportunities.
Oh and the instect was actually from there too, we stumbled upon it while bush walking. We were getting very close as the spider was huge and couldnt believe that what looked like a giant wasp was dragging it.
We did some googling on our return and it turns out it has one of the most painful stings known to man!! it was dragging a paralysed spider back to its home where he would lay eggs on it and the paralysed spider would serve as food for the young once hatched.

I liked the almost "infinite" quality of the breakwater heading off into the distance. Wouldn't have worked anything like as well in colour IMO. | |
