Preston North End and that Cullen header
at 20:58 25 Feb 2026

I switched off watching halfway through the first half, we just weren't at the races with Preston pushing, we got lucky in all reality cause we could have easily gone 2 down maybe even 3 down, 2nd half those changes made a massive difference, pity we didn't score early or halfway into that 2nd half cause I think we probably would have won the game if we had.

I think Matos learnt a lot from the game though, so its all good for me.

I haven't meant to Swim in there, I've just ended up in there a few times when fishing the first time was when I overstretched for landing net and wet arse over tit, Sploosh
The other two times was due to the banks being slippery, it happens both times another angler came to my rescue, but I was fine on own but his help was appreciated.

As for the Wye itself, its fine in and around Hereford, there's loads of fish caught regularly, there's otters in the river and thriving Kingfishers, the biggest problem lately is the Black Death Cormorants only one word to describe those Bas@ard things its a 5 letter word.

I don't know about the upper reaches, but the reports I see suggest that the fishing can be good, its good consistent Grayling river above Hereford they won't tolerate dirty conditions.

With the Wye being a spate river it rises to high levels quite quickly and drops quickly which helps any issues by flushing things through.

I've had a few impromptu swims in Wye whilst fishing, funny at the time just, wouldn't want a dip when she's running a tad hard though.

The loss of M&S in Neath has killed the town, M&S in Swansea is great shop and a landmark in the City, 90+ job losses is horrendous as well, it'll be a lot more than 90+ as well with suppliers and the like suffering as well.

Shocking News!

Far better 2nd half from us great goal by Super Liam Cullen with one of his "famed" headers, gets us a draw.

Subs made a massive difference.

I saw that Datsun back in the day, it was a classic

I echo what OHL wrote, good ole days indeed.

I remember chatting to my Grandad about aging and he said that he'd rather be the age he was than 21, he's was bloody right too,

Williams's kicking let us down again, time and time again he kicked the ball aimlessly away, first half was much better we looked solid, but that second half we fell apart changes were made far to early IMO.

Ref didn't do us any favours either, he should have carded a Scots player at least twice but didn't.

Our kicking game is atrocious

Bristol were the better side for most of the game for me, Cullen should have done far better with his gilt edge chance.

Good win though when its all said and done.

Agree Boundy, there's no doubting as to where these commentators opinions are lying, trying not to make it obvious of course.
