We're clearly shopping in the bargain bin now, I can't see us paying another significant fee (£2m+) for a player. No chance Gray, Gayle or that ilk.
Given that i'd take Can't Control on a free if the wages were right.
Hooper has obviously scored goals in the Championship before but seems to have gone off the boil badly - anyone know what's happened to him? Was it injuries or of the pitch stuff?
I heard we aren't paying anyone over £15k a week, so we certainly won't be paying £35k for Hooper's wages. |  | | |

Either of these are better than what we have once Chas has moved on. Best is not going to score regularly as his record shows, Hooper and Cole are better players. | | | |
