Mark Wright, based on one game at LR where he exerted an unprecedented gravitational pull on aerial balls that physicists to this day are unable to explain. I think he won every single header in his own half.
Somewhat similarly, Graham Kavanagh for (I think) Sunderland. Ran the midfield like it was dads v toddlers, we couldn't get near him. |

Norwich may be in the bottom three but they're nowhere near as crap as we'd like to imagine. Obviously they've beaten us comprehensively on aggregate, but they also have 11 points from the last six games, which doesn't look like the form of a truly relegation threatened side. I'll be astonished if they go down. |

Lost it in midfield again. We need a player who can hold up the ball, not be easily dispossessed and bring others into play. Someone like Ilias Chair. |

Exactly the kind of catastrophising, ridiculous hyperbole I'm talking about. Even supporters who've only seen the last two or three seasons have seen far worse. Blackpool 6-1 for instance. Plenty of other choices. |
