Doncaster Away - what reaction can we expect from the players? 08:01 - Nov 16 with 1786 views | aleanddale | The players must have watched the Wigan game. Hopefully all together. They must be hurting after that. I have just realised the last 4 league games I have attended produced zero goals. Bury Coventry Oldham and Wigan. Wigan was just one shot on target in 90 minutes. What reaction can we expect on Saturday at Donny in what is a very winnable game? Some fist pumping - hard tackling - passion - and some confident free flowing attacking football without fear and with smiles on the players faces please. [Post edited 16 Nov 2015 8:01]

Doncaster Away - what reaction can we expect from the players? on 09:51 - Nov 16 with 1714 views | TalkingSutty | All of those things a@d because there certainly doesn't seem much passion at the moment. I watched the game back again this morning and it just confirmed what I thought, no leadership, no excitement and a lack of quality all over the pitch. We looked like we where apologising for being in the same league as the opposition. At no time did we put them under pressure, it was a insipid display. It reminded me of the last three Derby games against the biffos, bad. These 'Derby' games really find us out,it's no coincidence we never seem to turn up for them. There's a fear and reluctance to our play and the opposition actually appear to want the game more than we do. Watch the FA Cup game against bury and spot which set of players are up for it more and go out for the win, the home team should always be the one on the front foot not the other way around. I hope I am wrong, obviously. I am expecting a better performance at Doncaster but one that is set up to deal with Doncasters perceived threats rather than us playing to our strengths. Donny to take the lead then us changing tactics and suddenly playing well and looking a threat but unfortunately chasing the game. Harkening the following comment from nearby Daleys, "Why couldn't they play like this from the start?" Either 2-1 to Donny or a creditable 1-1 draw, I will be there though along with probably 356 other Dale fans. [Post edited 16 Nov 2015 10:04]

Doncaster Away - what reaction can we expect from the players? on 10:10 - Nov 16 with 1661 views | onetonyellis | I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday who just watched the last ten minutes on TV and he said that from his point of view we just played out the game without any sense of urgency. A game is not necessarily lost at 0-2 with ten minutes to go (admittedly this one was and he would have known that if he had watched the whole thing) but he commented on the lack of anyone driving us forward and leading the team into making a game of it.

Absolutely. We couldn't get any worse from the Wigan performance, thankfully we got better and got a cracking result. If we can sneak a draw or win at Gillingham will be fantastic, then a win at home is essential. We certainly could do with a good, decent performance and result at home against Vale on Sat, to hopefully get over the Wigan horror show.
