League 1 finances 17:08 - Aug 7 with 2408 views

This is a really interesting thread on the most up to date (2016/17) financial figures for League 1 clubs.

Although the League One 2016/17 financial results are a season out-of-date, they are the most recent published, so people might still be interested in the comparisons. Note that not all figures are available, as many clubs only publish abbreviated accounts. Some thoughts follow.

Our figures don't go into detail with player transfers etc, so we don't know exactly how much we earned in transfer income. But, with a net profit of 1.4million, it's fair to say the biggest chunk of that will be transfer income - we'd have made a loss without it.
