Whilst it is obvious that defensively we are struggling,of the teams we have played who are at the top of the League they have collectively played 28 games and have only been beaten once.To me that would suggest that our team is not the only one to have had difficulties playing them.

Of course there is hope. I have been have been following The Dale for over 60 years and there has always been ups and downs. I think Keith Hill is a brilliant manager. More power to his elbow.

Got a feeling this is going to be a great season when it all settles down.

There doesn't seem to be much hope for Notts County though and I'm concerned for the welfare of the calcite one.

I don't think Hill knows his best team or formation yet, and there is work to do on all aspects of defence.

However, we have a better and stronger squad than last year, and I am sure it will click at some point. Hopefully we will then go on a run like we did a couple of years ago around December/Jan time.
