Craig Dawson! Why not???

Whilst I think it very unlikely that Craig would wish to continue playing at our level ,there is no reason why the proposition has not /could not be put to him.
From what I think was previously posted on here that is home is in the Knutsford area ,can't see him uprooting from there back to Rochdale anytime soon,nor in fairness would he need to if he chose to get on board .

Notice that a couple of posts have mentioned Bird and how well he played for us.
Know he is at Salford now, but doesn't appear to have had any game time.
Before I suggest we see if we can get him back here Is the lack of game time because he is injured does anyone know

The whole game seems a bit strange to me
The frontline Batsmen hardly covered themselves with glory in recent series in New Zealand and bearing in mind that the first test match will be played on a fast surface probably with bounce , this match is taking place on a slow low surface
Whilst very happy to see Stokes taking wickets , more of a concern is the fact that our opening bowling attack only managed one wicket between them.
Hoping I am just being overly pessimistic but feared we might be very embarrassed come a week tomorrow
