A spirit shared by this generation of doctors, nurses, care workers, supermarket workers, cleaners, delivery drivers etc etc putting themselves in harm’s way for the rest of us.
The death of the young nurse in Luton, heavily pregnant, is a particular sadness amongst innumerable sadnesses. Can only hope against hope that her baby, delivered prematurely, lives and is healthy. These people are modern day heroes. | | | |
