We received two 'abuse reported' messages on the thread. As I outlined in the T&C's post, we don't get to see which specific messages are reported when using the on-site tools and so on this occasion I thought it easier to delete the whole thread rather than several separate posts leaving an incomprehensible thread that flitted between COVID information and posts about which chippy is open.
Please can we not see another thread go down a similar route? Because frankly this is becoming embarrassing now.
We don't want to have to start banning messageboard users, but if the bickering and provocation of a certain few continues to put other posters off returning to the messageboard (which appears to be the case), then that's what we'll have to start doing. |  |

Well, I'm not gonna carry it on, but as verifiable by another poster on here, I am not a liar.
Unless I was expected to publish drafts of Classified documents in a Public Forum in the UK 
I provided him privately with sufficient evidence that I indeed do the work I do and politely requested he retracts his liar comments. Seems he told me to fook off... Says a lot more about him and his cronies that it does me.
Last thing I'll add: don't EVER let where you start in life have any bearing about where you go and NEVER allow other people to try to belittle you for your beginnings. I've worked fooking hard to get to the position I'm in now and I've never let my start in life or my disability get in the way or be an excuse to accomplishing what I have/am. | |

The problem Jonesy is that it is fine until you have a differing view to a certain poster or you post an opinion about something that he decides is not permissible. Unfortunately, when you disagree with him that’s when things turn. You try to stand your ground and give as good as you get, with as much humour as you can muster, but in the end it’s just not worth it.
