Do any of the children, grandchildren, great grand children etc,of those that played in our first league game have a continued affiliation with the club?
Too late to organise now but would have been good if a relative of the first player to captain us in a league game. Could have presented something to the O'Connell.

It's a good idea James, but I imagine that sort of thing would take months and months of planning and research by people who are experts at that sort of thing and have the time to do it. |  |

Had this romantic notion that that first eleven players were all born in the Rochdale area. Just looked up on Wikipedia and 3 were born in the town/Borough. Peter Farrer doesn't appear to have a wiki page. | |
