Oinkment, the smell of Oinkment and the bomber jackets the players were wearing. Went in the East stand and like Alec Guinness to Mark Hamill, down there is the North Bank, you won't meet a more vile or traitorous group of people......its great there, when you're 10 we will start going there PLUS its cheaper 😊😂

My first proper game was Crewe away in the re-election season ( had seen them before, including the Ronnie Rees debut).
We drew 2 - 2 and I remember Curtis scored.

First full game v Port Vale in 1970. Lost 2-0.

Used to go in at half time for nothing in the early 60s with my grandfather who lived in William Street (house long gone). Couldn’t say who we played though.

Same here.
I know I saw Aston Villa and Ronnie Rees's debut and several other games but in truth remember little about them

Birmingham City November 1981. 1-0. Robbie.

Unusual as 6:30 Saturday k/o due to rugby clash.

Was more taken with the stick Archie Gemill took than the game in many ways. Good old Archie took it in great spirit too.

Tramnere 1975 drew 1.1 no idea on scorers.
First game at the Liberty Tramnere again we won with Willie Gurret saving a penalty.

26 Oct 1968. Swansea Town 1 Port Vale 0

13 yrs age. Went with mates from school. Om East Bank railway sleepers.

Came across my first away fans there...couldn't believe their aggression.

Then heard roars from across North Bank.

Never experienced anything like it. Hooked from that point on

I was 5 or almost 5, it was either at the end of 71/72 season or at the start of the 72/73 season. I've no idea of the oppo or the score all I remember is being very bored and wanting to go home before half time.

My father told me several times but the story kept changing.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Yes, definitely a darkish blue.

Would have been one of the first games as Swansea CITY.

Anyone know why Swansea Valley jack?
Reason I ask, for some reason he down arrowed my initial post!

Very strange indeed as please correct me if you think otherwise, I think the post was a decent post and just trying to discourage posters arguing with something that we could all be brought together with.

Thanks, wasn't my issue being down arrowed.

My issue is why would someone down arrow such a post that invites others to share their first experience of Swansea City or in some cases Town.
