Yes, they are everywhere but that’s no excuse for the council or police to form some sort of strategy to relocate them away from the centre which will encourage more people to come into the centre. The question now is of course, for what??

If you want to hear what most people think (and I stand by that claim) search for the Andrew Lawrence video on YouTube entitled ‘Congratulations, Gordon and Denton’. He’s a comedian by trade but not even he can’t find this funny. It’s brutal but truthful.

I’ve not posted it on here sadly because of the content that may be too much for some and be harmful to the site.

What really is laughable is that they think they are good and interesting enough to charge to read the articles 🤣🤣🤣.

Factor in the undesirables who frequent the city centre which the council / police do absolutely nothing about. Swansea given the contempt it suffers from WG and mirrored in the WRU decision to remove first class rugby from the city will end up being a small town in Wales in 100 years dwarfed maybe by Newport and Llanelli. The council need to be prescient here and concentrate on what Swansea can give. It’s not nor ever will be a shopping centre of excellence so we need to look at leisure based provision using both natural and man made facilities. It will need a strong USP.

Must have misheard somewhere. Thanks for the info.

The WRU have said it’s not final in the west yet so all is not lost BUT I’d be equally vociferous if the Scarlets were considered. Two regions in the west must remain. Cardiff and Dragons can fight their own battle😏

They’d need to be invited of course which I would see as a big problem and I don’t think the revamped St Helens would meet ground capacity requirements. It’s not going to happen sadly.

Some tend to take things personally. Nothing in that piece that wasn’t factual. In my humble opinion of course😁

Personally I thought the piece was very accurate. We can’t hide behind the truth, we have to face it head on. Some players last night weren’t at the races and that needs saying. And although some can be excused for a one-off performance like that there are others mentioned who really need to be rested (a euphemism for dropped). Fair play to Matos, he’s given some players lots of encouragement but even he will see they are not responding. I expect to see changes this coming Saturday.

Really good appearance last night. He was fresh for a start unlike some others on the pitch.

Cabango and Burgess
at 11:34 25 Feb 2026

I was in the unusual situation of actually being at the game last night. There was a great atmosphere there to be fair and a very vocal crowd. Great to see. It’s a shame the first half didn’t give us more to shout about. It was flat and for me a hangover from the gruelling game against Bristol City 3 days previously.

However, I may be in the minority here but we are not going to go up with the centre half pairing we have got. I appreciate Cabango had a poor game last night but he’s not a top championship CH and nor is Burgess. There are too many errors in them and they are not as physical as they could be.

And though his job is not to score, Cabango’s efforts the other end of the pitch are laughable. Banjo, barn door, cow’s behind etc.😆

Partially agree with that.

However, I don’t blame him for the goal at all. It was a perfect ball across goal which possibly Tymon could have dealt with better but it went Preston’s way. A good move from them with a fair amount if luck with the the run of the ball. But they deserved it and really should have scored more.

There was an incident in the first half where he was stuck to his line but thought about coming for a very high ball but left it to Cabango. He should be commanding that part of his area better for a big man. That said, I wouldn’t swap him for any other keeper in the league. That save at the end ultimately got us a point.
