Yes, I thought the same. AO’C mentioned the incident on SwansTV and you could hear the crowd moan as you say. Those bad habits need to be chipped away at slowly. It’s got to be instinctive when to go forward or back and it looked as if there were signs of this yesterday.
Nice to see the crowd act as a coach as well as a 12th man😁 |

As a stops hotter alone he’s one of if not the best in this league. But there is more to keeping including managing your 6 and 18 yard area. He seems to be improving on the latter areas or at least showed signs of it yesterday. |

Haven’t seen anything mentioning him following yesterday’s game. He's had some critics of late, myself included to a point due to his reticence to leave his line or 6 yd area.
Today however, we saw him come to the edge of the area to pick up through balls taking the pressure of the CBs. I’m very surprised it’s taken Margetson that long to coach him into this.
It’s not as easy as a keeper to assess the speed of a through ball. I know from experience! Bit clearly he’s been working on it and yesterday seemed to have adapted his game to deal with these situations. |

I don’t agree. It’s very sad, clearly but an incident such as this which, I’m presuming is not down to crowd issues and general safety should NOT result in a game being abandoned. A lot of people have travelled and spent large amounts of money to go to the game and I retest, although very sad indeed it should have restarted. Nothing to do with people not having dealt with a lot of death!! |

Agree with most of that WR but although not a table topping side, I didn’t think Oxford were that poor. They dealt with the conditions better than us though a lot of our problems I’m sure stemmed from nerves. They seemed a bit fitter too but by God they were a jiggly side. That card should have come out earlier.
Was it a pen? Live I thought yes. Replay behind the goal, no. Replay in front of goal, yes. If it had been the other way round and given I wouldn’t have complained too much. |

Ok, not as good a second half but one thing I’ll say is they left everything out there.
Difficult conditions which strangely Oxford seemed to deal with better than us. I’ll put that down to us being a bit edgy especially as the game progressed.
Our passing was a bit awry at times and wrong options but after 5 games without a win it’s understandable.
On a negative note, not impressed with Cabango again. |
