Exactly the same as was supposed to happen at Wigan but didn’t.

Expect an issue somewhere in early 2024, where the EFL forget they didn’t actually check the “ring fenced” account had any money in it!

The Covid stoppage and a season and a half with no crowds ruined the delicate balances of many club accounts. Those that borrowed to pay wages will be getting hammered by the Banks and if they took the Government loans, I guess they will have to repay them at some point soon, I think many were 3 year loans
